What a superb group of children and young people WAVE had the privilege of taking climbing at Wilton Quarry last night. Aged 4-10, they were simply awesome!
Thanks to Ian and the Sports Reunited Team for supporting and feeding us with burgers and sausages.
The children were very well behaved and showed great determination to succeed on some challenging climbs.
This is what they thought of the session:
‘It was really fun. I enjoyed the ‘Mazie’ route’
I absolutely love it here, it’s challenging and it gets you into climbing’
Wow, what can I say? We had an amazing time. All the helpers are fantastic. Thank you very much’
I loved climbing the quarry, it was so much fun-challenging but fun. Thank you so much, I want to do it again!’
One of the mums who came to watch said:
